Chapter 4

Cassie’s P.O.V

“Girls!! I’m home!” I walk in the door to see Sam and Isabel standing at the counter shoving ice cream in their mouths. “Cassie!!” Sam ran over to me embracing me in a hug nearly knocking me on the floor! “Hey girlie! I missed you!” “From the one night I was gone?” I looked at Isabel. “Yeah!” she started to laugh. Isabel and I are closer then me and Sam. Isabel has known me since we were 7. She was with me when my older brother died from a car accident.

Flashback

It was April 3rd, Isabel’s birthday was today and we were celebrating at my aunts house. My mum picked up all of the party supplies and had already put them up at the house. My brother Daniel was driving me and Isabel to the house. I was matching with Isabel, both of us wearing blue crop tees and jean shorts, with our hair up with bows. Daniel wasn’t looking good. “Are you okay dany?” That was my nickname for him. We had a close relationship. “Yeah sweetheart, ill be..” Then it all went black.

End of flashback

All I remember from it is waking up in the hospital next to Isabel. We were both in bad shape, and she had a broken arm. I remember my mum coming in telling me that Daniel had a heart attack, and he had died as soon as we hit the pole. In two days it’ll be Daniels 13th anniversary since the accident. “Come on, lets go have a girls day out!!” Sam took my arm and pulled me to the car. It was going to be a long day, all I could think about was going back to see the boys.

It was already 4:00. I had 2 hours exactly to get ready before I got to see them. All i could think about was getting to see Harry.

Isabel and Sam had bought me a whole new wardrobe, including a beautiful blue dress, stopping just below my knees. The girls thought I needed something sexy to show off. Even though the boys were already like brothers to me. I wasn’t going to argue. I knew they would make me look perfect. I got into the shower quickly, coming out with just a towel so Sam could do my hair. She curled my hair, putting it up in a bun, leaving some of the curls out. After Sam was done it was Isabel’s turn to do my makeup. She put a light blue shade of eyeshadow, using mascara to “bring out my eyes” she calls it. She finally finished with a light lip gloss, taking me to the mirror to get me dressed. “Okay, Im going to get dressed!!” I raised my hand to shoo them out. They left me to get dressed, telling me to hurry. It was 5:45, and they were both taking me to the boys flat.

When I was done I slipped on my white flats, grabbing my jacket, and running down the hall. “You look beautiful Cassie.” Sam said looking me up and down spinning me. “Thank you.” I smiled. “Now lets go..I told Harry I’d be there at 6 sharp!” I yelled pushing them out the door, locking it behind me. I took my phone out and texted Harry. “Be there in five(: xx”

“Have fun!!” “Be careful!” They both yell out to me before driving off. I walked up to the door slowly, lifting up my hand to knock when Harry opened the door, his eyes wide looking me up and down. “You, look beautiful.” He smiled taking my hand and kissing my cheek. He was dressed in a black button down shirt and dress pants. “Why thank you.” I said smiling back. I walk in the door and quickly turn around to see Harry not behind me. The lights were out. Except for candles lit all through the house. “Harry! Boys I’m here!!” I called out to them. No response. “If your playing some trick on me, it’s not funny!” I couldn’t help myself but start to laugh once I saw the candle lights coming from the dining room. I walk over to the couch putting my purse and jacket down, then slowly walking around the corner where the candles were coming from. “Oh my god.” I whisper putting my hand over my mouth. The boys had decorated the whole dining room. There was food, tons of it. They even had my favorite wine on the rack. It was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. I looked on either side of the doors to make sure the boys weren’t looking, before I started to spin around. I spun and spun around in my dress until I felt someone catch me, wrapping their arms around my waist. “Don’t fall love.” I turned around to see Niall standing there. He had a black tux on with a white vest. “Wow, you clean up nice don’t ya?” I laughed at him pulling him into a hug wrapping my arms around his neck. “Why yes I do, and you..are beautiful. If I do say so myself.” I lifted up my head to look at him smiling. “Thank you Niall.” I said lifting up his hand to spin me around. I spun about twice til I was in somebody else’s arms. “Hey beautiful.” Harry picked me up bridal style, walking me over to the couch. “Harry put me down!!” I hit his back a few times but it was no use.

He carried me over to the chair and laid me down carefully. “I’m sorry, it was just too good to pass up.” He looked at me before laughing. “Okay, but I don’t think it was funny.” I said looking at him seriously. “Oh,babe I’m sorry!!” He laughed running over to me wrapping his arms around me kissing my cheek which made all the guys start to yell, but not Niall. He wasn’t out here with the rest of us. I didn’t even see him leave after Harry carried me out of the dining room.

“I’ll be right back.” I told the boys before walking out on the porch. “Niall?”
